Cambridge Classics are based on Gwydir Street, just off Mill Road and are a family run business specialising in handmade and bespoke wooden double glazed windows.

The area around Mill Road is known for Victorian style properties with traditional sash and casement windows that look beautiful but don’t keep out the cold!

Cambridge Classics can provide window replacements that are in keeping with the character of your home, but with much better insulation properties. Interior and exterior decorating of windows also available.

They are a community minded business and are a main sponsor of the Traders’ Association.

The Sea Tree, 13-14 The Broadway, Mill Road, Cambridge, CB1 3AH

Described as an ‘alternative fish bar’, this is a fish and chip shop with a swanky diffference.

This upmarket fish and chip shop, opened in 2009, offers haddock, cod, mackerel, crab, calamari and more. Most of the cooking is from fresh rather than frozen and in their own batter mix. Lobster and crayfish dishes are also available and they have a wet fish counter if you want to buy to cook for yourself at home.

Owner David started his career as a chef and takes great pride in the ingredients he sources. A winner of a number of awards, including the National Fish and Chip Awards 2012, this is an excellent place for takeaway or a great venue for a meal out.
