Earlier this year, Mill Road was shortlisted for a digital engagement award by the Association of Town and City Management (ATCM). We were thrilled to be grouped with Norwich and Falkirk, two bigger, slicker operations – but even more thrilled to win!
The ATCM staff said the thing that set us apart was the extent to which traders were involved. MillRoadTV, which has profiles and interviews with traders, councillors and local residents, was a great example of the ways in which Mill Road has come together online. They also liked that we had done it all with no budget.
